A Hallgatói Önkormányzatok Országos Konferenciája hagyományteremtő konferencia-sorozatot indított tegnap a PTE Ifjúság úti Campusában, minek köszönhetően az utolsó óráikra (vagy inkább első vizsgáikra) igyekvő hallgatók szokatlan látványban részesülhettek.
Rögtön az “A” épület bejárata előtt kis bódék fogadták az arra járókat. Kitelepült a FEEK Társadalmi Befogadás Szakkollégiuma, a Máltai Szeretetszolgálat pécsi csoportja, a Ki-Látás közhasznú alapítvány és a Tett-Hely képviselete, hogy a jó időben, egyfajta esélyegyenlőségi búcsú keretében, emberközelien válaszoljanak az érdeklődők kérdéseire.
Tovább haladva, az aulában fél tíztől előadásokat lehetett hallani. Novák Péter műsorvezető Churchill idézettel nyitotta a napot, mely az elkövetkezendők szellemiségét jól tükrözte: “egy demokrácia mérőfoka, hogy hogyan tolerálja a benne lévő kisebbségeket”. Valamint mindent megtett, hogy a délelőtti nyüzsgés okozta hangzavarban is hallani lehessen a meghívottakat, akik a sportolástól a személyi jogokig terjedő skálán szolgáltak nekünk olyan információkkal, melyek bár nincsenek benne a köztudatban, de mégis tudni kellene róluk.
Elsőként Rauh Edit, SZMM Esélyegyenlőségi szakállamtitkára tartott egy rövid összefoglalót az esélyegyenlőségi politika magyar és európai történetéről, főbb célkitűzéseiről és állomásairól, hogy sejtésünk legyen róla, milyen változások történtek az elmúlt ötven évben.
Majd az Állampolgári Jogok Országgyűlési Biztosának Hivatalának főosztályvezetője és osztályvezetője, dr. Borza Beáta és dr. Hajas Barnabás a jelenlegi magyarországi helyzetről beszélt, egyetem-közeli példákat felhozva, hogy szemléltessék, milyen nehéz helyzetben vannak például a rosszul látók. Elég csak a jegyzetek beszerzésére gondolnunk, vagy arra, hogy a mi egyetemünkön sincsenek Barille-írással ellátott táblák, melyek segítenék őket a tájékozódásban. Bánfalvy Csaba a nemrég megjelent vitaösztönző könyvéről, Az integrációs cunamiról tartott egy rövid ismertetőt. Ő egy kisebbséget képvisel, mely szerint a jelenlegi magyarországi oktatási rendszer rossz, mivel sem a diákok, sem a tanárok, sem a szülők, sem az iskolák nincsenek megfelelően felkészítve a manapság újra divatba került integrációs törekvésekre, így ez a jelenlegi forma csak terhet szül mindenkire nézve. Természetesen, az észak- és dél-európai példákat tanulmányozva megoldási javaslatokat is kaptunk a mostani, korántsem szívderítő helyzetre.
A kerekasztal-beszélgetés előtti blokk zárásaként Farkas Gergő beszélt a People First programról, mely egy svédországi önsegítő szervezetként indult, ám mára már több ezer főt számlál. Végezetül pedig Adonyiné dr. Gábori Mária egyetemi adjunktus, fogyatékosügyi koordinátor mesélt a pécsi egyetem utóbbi 10 évéről, és arról, hogy azóta milyen változások történtek, melyek a fogyatékkal élők számára segítséget nyújtanak.
Az aulából kiérve, a Szenesben az Emberség Erejével Alapítvány szervezésében az élő könyvtár felhozatalából válogathattunk. Kikölcsönözhettünk egy fél órára egy (sztereo)tipikus feministát, leszbikust, ex-drogost, homoszexuálist, buddhistát, ex-hajléktalant, romát, környezetvédőt vagy akár rockzenészt, hogy a velük kapcsolatban minket nyomasztó kérdéseinket feltehessük nekik.
Délután folytatódtak a beszélgetések, sőt, a sportcsarnokban a PTE Testnevelési és Sporttudományi Intézet szervezésében az Integrált sportnapra is el lehetett látogatni, mely felhozatalán a legkülönfélébb dolgok szerepeltek az úszástól a küzdősportokon keresztül az asztaliteniszig vagy az ülőröplabdáig. Aki pedig nem fáradt el teljesen, az este a Szenesben a Supernem koncertjére is ellátogathatott.
Az előadások népszerűségét látva úgy tűnik, szükség is volt rá, és a színes felhozatalnak köszönhetően a rendezvény el is érte a célját, hogy a szorgalmi időszak utolsó hetén bejáró hallgatók figyelmét felhívja az esélyegyenlőség témájának aktualitására.
